Louisville basketball went toe to toe with Virginia in the ACC Tournament, but just as most of the season has gone, the Cards left us wanting just a little bit more.
Next season cannot come soon enough for Louisville basketball fans.
Cards fans endured the worst season in the modern era. But before we can turn the page, we have to talk about this game.
What went wrong? What is encouraging? And how the ACC Tournament was a bit of a microcosm of the season as a whole.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching our Cardinals play their last two games even in losing to Virginia. I kept asking myself, “Where has this team been all season long?”
My next question is: Who’s our new head basketball coach? Is it Kenny Payne, which I assume a majority of Cardinal fans want? If not, why not?
If we’re told it’s not Kenny Payne, and the reason given is that he’s had no head coaching experience, then I want to know why that standard wasn’t applied to Denny Crum? And, why is Kenny Payne being held to a higher standard than Denny Crum? That sounds like blatant racism.
My next question is: Is Junior Bridgeman going to be made the next Athletic Director? And, why is there not more public. discussion about these issues?
