Former Louisville football linebacker C.J. Avery joins the fellas on From The Pink Seats Podcast.
On the eve of the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the guys were joined by Louisville football alum and draft hopeful, C.J. Avery. With the biggest moment of his life just a few hours or days away, Avery talked about his experience during the NFL pre-draft process.
Following a few months away from the program, Avery also reflects on his days as a Louisville Cardinal. From starting at Louisville football as a highly-touted four-star safety to becoming a three-year captain and multi-year starter at linebacker. It wasn’t always smooth sailing during his career, but throughout the episode Avery reflects on what the program has meant to him, why he didn’t want to leave, and what he expects from Scott Satterfield and company during the 2022 season.
