Louisville basketball re-enters Coaches/ AP Top 25


Louisville basketball has won 14 of its last 15 games dating back to a December 21st win at Florida State.

After dropping out of the polls following a loss to Georgia Tech two weeks ago, the Cards have returned to the AP and Coaches Poll Top 25 once again.

Louisville sits at No. 22 in the Coaches Poll after receiving 109 votes in the February 17th edition. They are one spot behind 21st-ranked Kentucky.

The Cards come in at 25th in the AP Top 25 Poll, receiving 137 votes. They fall in line directly behind No. 24 Mississippi and No. 23 Kansas.

Since it’s lone loss in 2025, Louisville basketball has reeled off a 26-point win at Boston College, a 10-point win against Miami without point guard Chucky Hepburn and center James Scott, a 25-point road victory vs NC State, and a 15-point win on Sunday night at Notre Dame.

In the meantime, numbers 2, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24 all took losses since the last poll release.

Elsewhere, Louisville is sitting at 25th according to Ken Pomeroy’s analytics and 27th in the NCAA NET Rankings.

Louisville plays only once this week- A return home to face a surging Florida State squad at noon on Saturday February 22nd.
