Louisville basketball has its game against Boston College on Saturday postponed; Will play Clemson on Wednesday and Georgia Tech on Monday instead.
It has been nearly three weeks since Louisville basketball had a game postponed. Which is why the Cardinals’ latest schedule mix-up feels perfectly timed.
Louisville, who was supposed to be off this week until a home game against Boston College on Saturday, reportedly had to postpone its game against the Eagles. BC had its last two games against Virginia Tech and Pitt postponed. Now, it appears that the Eagles will have to postpone their next two games, leaving both Clemson and Louisville with open dates.

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, the Cardinals will travel to Clemson on Wednesday.
“Sources: Louisville’s home game next Saturday against Boston College will not be played as scheduled due to issues related to COVID-19,” Rothstein tweeted on Sunday. “Cards will now play at Clemson on Wednesday night.”
Clemson, who was one of the hottest teams in the country in December, has since… umm… Cooled down.
After a 10-day COVID-related pause, the Tigers lost by 35, 22, and 19 to Virginia, Georgia Tech, and Florida State.
The Tigers will face a much tougher test on Wednesday than 3-10 Boston College. However, Clemson could match-up well with the Cards.
There is still no official word from Louisville basketball or the ACC, but we will update you as more information comes.
Furthermore, Louisville basketball added another matchup to the schedule. This time, a rescheduling of the previously postponed matchup with Georgia Tech.
Michael Scott Josh Pastner and the Yellow Jackets will travel to Louisville for a Monday matinee at the KFC Yum! Center on February 1st at 2:00 pm. That game will be followed up by another rescheduled game, which will feature the Louisville women’s basketball team vs. #2 North Carolina State later that night.
The Yellow Jackets just recently returned to play following their own postponement, as mentioned previously. They returned with a bang, blowing out #20 Clemson, 83-65. Which was followed up by a near upset of Virginia this weekend. They currently sit 7-4 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
