Louisville can host the TBT Championship Game; But it’s up to the fans

The Ville TBT can have home court advantage all the way to the title game. Here’s how to help.

A TBT Championship game in Louisville?

It’s possible. But it’s up to us!

The Ville TBT team is back for year three, returning stars Russ Smith and Montrezl Harrell and coach Luke Hancock.

This season, things are a little different. And for the fans, the stakes have never been higher.

Let me explain:

There are 8 regional hosts this year across TBT.

Those hosts each have the chance to have home court advantage all the way to the championship game.

The home court advantage will be determined by home court advantage rankings among the following host schools:

• Louisville
• Lexington (Kentucky)
• Indianapolis (Butler)
• Syracuse
• Kansas City (Kansas)
• Virginia
• West Virginia
• Wichita

In the case two regional hosts match up against one another, the game will be hosted by the team ranked higher in the Home Court Advantage Rankings.

The first team to sell 4k tickets will earn home court advantage. The other seven hosts will be ranked according to fastest to 4k tickets sold. If multiple regions sell 4k tickets during the pre-sale, a tie breaker is triggered and the region that has sold the most tickets by 11:59 pm on May 6^th wins.

Remember, the key is for The Ville to sell 4,000 tickets before any other regional host. If they can do that, we could see a TBT Championship Game hosted in Freedom Hall.
