Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson and Baltimore’s playoff opponent

We now know who Lamar Jackson and the Ravens play in the first round of the playoffs.

The Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson secured a playoff spot on Sunday afternoon. We now know the Raven’s seeding and who they will play.

While Jackson and Baltimore crushed the Bengals on Sunday, Buffalo took care of business against Miami.

Miami owned the tiebreaker over the Ravens. After a loss by the Browns-who Baltimore was tied with, but defeated twice this year- and then the Miami loss, Baltimore staked claim to the top wildcard spot.

With the No. 5 seed locked down, only one question remained. Baltimore would travel to face the AFC South Champion, but who would they face?

In the late games, Indianapolis needed a victory in order to just get into the playoffs, and a late surge by the Texans nearly dethroned the Titans, who held the division crown.

However, a bomb to AJ Brown in the waning moments and a field goal that banked in off the upright as time expired gave Tennessee the AFC South crown.

Baltimore will travel to Nashville as the No. 5 seed to face the No. 4 seed Tennessee Titans this this weekend.

While dates and times are yet to be announced, the Ravens and Jackson will get a chance to exact revenge from their last two meetings.

The Titans defeated the Ravens in overtime earlier this season. Most notably, however, Tennessee knocked the No. 1 seeded Ravens out in the divisional round last year.

It’s time to see what Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are made of. We will find out whether or not the 2019 MVP can get the proverbial monkey off his back. A victory could propel his legacy forward. A loss could tarnish all of the good that has happened in his first 2+ seasons as a starter. Who better to do it against than the team that most recently knocked Jackson and the Ravens out of the playoffs?
