Off the Walz is the first podcast solely dedicated to covering Louisville women’s basketball, hosted by State of Louisville WBB Beat Writer, Brian Trent.
In the first episode, Brian goes one-on-one with Louisville Head Coach Jeff Walz. Coach Walz discusses his pursuit of a head coaching job and why it took longer than expected and the impact Angel McCoughtry had on the program both short-term and long-term. Plus he talks about passing the star baton from Dana Evans & how that’s changed things this summer. How FIBA experience will help his squad, and how the frontcourt plans to be much more versatile in ’21-22.
Then, Brian sits down with Chrissy Banta to preview each member of the 2021-22 roster, talk key storylines surrounding the season, and look at some of the big games on the schedule.
